August 18th WILDFIRE STATUS

salmon-arm-camping-resort-shuswap-09

Many of you are phoning and asking questions about fires, evacuees and cancellation policy.

The travel advisory still stands for the following areas,  Including  the communities of Armstrong, Spallumcheen, Okanagan Indian Band, Enderby, and parts of the Regional District North Okanagan.     Salmon Arm is not part of this.

We have contacted the Vernon and Salmon Arm Emergency Services to let them know we have space in our campground for evacuees.  They have us on file. The City of Salmon Arm has the fair grounds and hotels also reserved for evacuees.

We have checked with local authorities and have been told we are to welcome visitor and we do not need to tell them to go home.

We are aware that things can change anytime, with fire activity and air quality, and understand people are still cautious,  so we have revised our cancellation policy to be sensitive to this.

We are offering a full credit of your deposit towards a stay until we close in October.  Or if this does not work, we will meet you half way and refund you half of your deposit.

We encourage everyone to have a conversation with us about any questions and concerns and we will be happy to help you.

We have many sites open right now and would love for you to come and enjoy our heated pool, live entertainment, mini golf, and all the amenities we have to offer.
